Wilma E. Hart

Funeral services for Wilma, 85, formerly of Clayton, will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the CLAYTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until time of service. The family has asked that masks be worn, and social distancing be observed. A PRIVATE graveside service will be held Monday, December 14, 2020 at Clayton Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Gene.

Wilma was born in Hadley, IN. to the late William and Lilly Marie (Stewart) Heckathorn. She graduated from Clayton High School. Wilma married Gene Hart June 4, 1966, he preceded her in death January 30, 1997. Wilma was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She had worked at Cox Plant Farm - Clayton for more than 20 years, and had been a supervisor in the telephone center for the Indiana State Senate. Wilma was a member of Clayton Christian Church since 1954. She loved the Lord and her church, in which she served faithfully. Wilma was also a member of the Plainfield Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Rick) Goines - Plainfield, grandchildren, Ashley Helbig, Kendrick and Patrick Goines, 8 great grandchildren, sisters, Delores Jackson - Alexandria, VA., Effie Burke - Plainfield, Carolyn Sanders - Franklin, IN., Wanda Sisk - Elkmont, AL., and sister-in-law, Beth Heckathorn - Monrovia.

Contributions may be given to Clayton Christian Church, 5110 S. State Road 39, Clayton in memory of Wilma.
