WESLEY RAY MORGAN

August 5, 1933 — January 9, 2017

83, of Danville, passed Jan. 09, 2017 at his home. He was born
Aug. 05, 1933 in Richardsville, Kentucky to Owen and Icy(Davenport)
Morgan. Wesley graduated from Richardsville High School. After High
School he joined the Army serving his country in the Korean War.
In 1955 Wesley married Virginia Lee Cowles in Robertson County,
Tennesse. They later moved to Indianapolis where he worked for
General Motors-Allison Transmission as a machine repair specialist.
Wesley and Virginia later moved to Danville and in 1968 they had a
daughter Pamela Ann. After 24 years of service he retired from his
job in 1993. He is a member of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church. Services: will be at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME-DANVILLE,
at 2:00 pm Thurs., Jan. 12, 2017 with visitation there 12:00 noon
until time of service. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, one daughter Pamela Ann Morgan-Parfitt(Chris) 3 grandchildren, 1 grand-godchild, 1 great-grand-godchild, a nephew Nelson(Sandy) Neighbors-Avon.
Contributions may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project.
