Wanda K. Stanley

March 3, 1938 — June 23, 2020

Wanda, 82, of Danville, passed away early Tuesday morning at home with her family by her side. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 26, 2020 at Mill Creek Cemetery, located southwest of Danville, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband of 29 years, "Bob". Friends may attend with "Social Distancing" being required.

Wanda was born in Vandilla, Indiana to the late Curtis and Margaret (Lehman) Keck. She graduated from Mitchell (IN.) High School, and later received a BA Degree in Education from Franklin College. Wanda married Robert "Bob" Stanley in 1964, he preceded her in death in 1993. She taught Spanish at Danville Community High School for many years, as well as serving as the high school librarian. Wanda was also a professional "proof-reader" at Bobs Merrill Company in Indianapolis. She was a very active member of the Danville Friends Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie MacPherson and grandson, Matt MacPherson, of Danville, sister, Norma Evans of Knoxville, TN., and nieces, Susan Branham of N. Fort Myers, FL., and Barbara Haaf of Knoxville, TN. Contributions may be given to the church in memory of Wanda.
