Funeral services for "Vicki", 71, of Clayton, will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 2, 2021 in the CLAYTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH. Visitation  will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday, August 1, 2021 also in the church. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Clayton Cemetery. Because of the untimely passing of her mother, Harriette E. Ward, less than (24) twenty-four hours prior to "Vicki's" passing, these services will be held jointly. (See Harriette E. "Vicki" was born in Dallas, TX. to the late Charles E. and Harriette E. (Spurlock) Ward. She was a graduate of Cascade High School with the class of 1967. "Vicki" later received a BA Degree in Business from Indiana University. She had been an account manager for multiple insurance companies  for many years. She served in that capacity from Dallas, TX., to Washington DC, and finally, Indianapolis, when she returned home. "Vicki" was a member of the Clayton Christian Church, she was an avid reader, gardener, and was a wonderful cook. "Vicki" was active, along with her mother, Harriette, with the Hendricks Co. Meals on Wheels. the food pantry feeding the needy through the Mill Creek Support Center, as well as serving on the Liberty Township Election Board helping with polling the local elections.

Survivors include her sister, Teresa (David) Danner of Zionsville, brother, Mark (Deanna) Ward of Plainfield, and nieces, Elizabeth Creakbaum and Wendy Foster.

Contributions may be given to the Mill Creek Support Center and/or the Hendricks County Meals on Wheels.
