Sharril D. Reed, 59, of Clayton, Ind. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. She was born in Greencastle, Ind. and was the daughter of Judith (Herrin) Weatherman and the late James “Woody” Weatherman.
Sharril grew up in Clayton, Ind. and was a 1983 graduate of Cascade High School. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis. She worked several years between St. Francis and Methodist Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Orthopedics and Neurology. She and her fiancé were the owner-operators of II Xtreme Levels trucking company.
She was a wonderful person, the epitome of unconditional love and sincere acceptance. Mama Ale, as she was affectionately nicknamed, was like a mother to so many, with a heart rooted in caregiving. She was a great support to so many, she was there if you needed a ride, or a little help studying. She was a wonderful life-partner, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend.
Sharril is survived by her fiancé, Joshua Brothers; sons, Bradley (Paul) Rowlett, Brock (Kate) Burnell; mother, Judith Weatherman; brother, Shannon (Maggie) Weatherman; grandson Owen Burnell; granddaughters, Lillian Burnell, Ryan, Serena and Dylin Rowlett. She also leaves behind many extended family members and her beloved pups, Skimmer and Lucy.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 4-6pm with a funeral service at 6pm, at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home, Danville. Cremation will follow.
