Robert L. "Bob" Lone

Bob, 84, of Clayton passed away at home Friday morning with his family at his bedside. A Private visitation will take place at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME CLAYTON Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, followed by a Public graveside service at 1:00 pm in Clayton Cemetery where Bob will be laid to rest. The family has asked that masks be worn, and social distancing be observed.

Bob was born in English, IN. to the late Sam and Rachael (Love) Lone. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis with the class of 1955. Bob married Barbara L. "Barb" Burdine Mar. 7, 1958. He was an exceptional carpenter, working in the Truck and Bus division of General Motors in Indianapolis for 48 years, retiring in 2006. Bob was a member of UAW Local #23 and the Mooresville, IN. Masonic Lodge #669. He attended Hazelwood Christian Church.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barb, son, Kevin (Pam) Lone of Greencastle, grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Kaylee, Heather, great grandchildren, Farrah, Allie, Maya, and Aubrey. Bob was preceded by a son Jeffrey, and most recently, a sister, Geraldine Trinkle.
