Robert W. "Bob" Brown

Funeral service for ROBERT W. "BOB" BROWN,87, of Danville, will be held 2:00 pm Sat. Oct. 29, at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation there 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery at Plainfield.

Bob was born Aug. 18, 1929 in Avon to Horace Lee and Margarite (Strong) Brown. He was a 1948 graduate of Avon High School. Bob married Esther Grinnewald in 1951. He was an elevator installer for the Otis Elevator Company in Indianapolis, was a commercial and residential carpet cleaner for Guarantee Carpet Company, and was an Indiana State Inspector of elevators and commercial rides. Bob had been an active member of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church in Avon. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Esther, his children, Debra Sue Wilson - Lakeland, Fl., Janet Carol Rousch - Indianapolis, and Doug Brown - Menomonee Falls, Wi. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Brown and a brother, Don Brown.
