Rita Ray King

A private family gathering for Rita, 88, will be held at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE. There will be no visitation.

Rita was born in Trenton, Illinois to the late Leslie and Hilda (Fochtmann) Ritzheimer. She graduated from Trenton High School. Rita married Robert King in 1950, he preceded her in death Jan. 5, 2014. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker, helping to raise her children, throughly enjoying her family. Rita was a member of Whitestone Christian Church and enjoyed playing bingo at the Plainfield Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include her children, Gayle King, of North Salem, Michael (Kathleen) King, of Arcadia, FL., Timothy (Jenea) King, of Altoona, FL., 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and her loving dog, Tammi. Rita was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
