Richard C. "Dick" Evans, Sr.

Dick passed away at home on Tuesday May 7, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. At Dick's request, there will be no services. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or cards, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the Hendricks County Humane Society in his memory.

Dick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy J. (Parrish) Evans, children, Richard "Chuck" (Shannon) Evans, Jr. of Danville, Bruce W. (Lori) Evans of Avon, grandchildren, Anthony Neitling, Jessica Clampitt, Phoenix Evans, Cierra Evans, Adam Evans, great grandchildren, Jonathon Clampitt, Vincent Evans, brother, Gerald Evans of Ohio, and sister, Lynn Hensley of Anderson.

Dick was a graduate of Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis, had been a truck driver at the current Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors in Avon for 38 years, served his country in the United States Navy, and was a member of the NRA.

Arrangements have been entrusted to WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE.
