Rhonda Lee Legan

May 15, 1939 — September 3, 2019

A memorial visitation for Rhonda will take place from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm SUN., SEPT. 8, 2019 at BARTLETT CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in AVON. Inurnment of her cremains will take place in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at Elwood, IL. at a later date.

Rhonda was born in Kempton, IL., to the late Raymond and Minnie (Weaver) Webster. She graduated from Kempton (IL.) High School and later received an Associates Degree from Kankakee (IL.) Community College. Rhonda had been a teachers assistant at Clifton (IL.) Central High School and was an x-ray technician at St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL. She married Gerald "Jerry" Legan Feb. 14, 1960, he too passed away Sept. 3, 2019. Rhonda was a member of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, and was a member of the Quilters Guild of Kankakee, IL. and Hendricks County. Also enjoying gardening, she achieved the status of "master gardener".

Survivors include her children, Brian (Elaine) Legan - Albuquerque, NM., Bruce (Judy) Legan - Danforth, IL., Brad (Michelle) Legan - Danville, IN., Bonnie (William) Burgess - Safety Harbor, FL., 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Gene and Dennis Webster, both of Buckingham, IL., sister, Connie Swearingen - Gardner, IL., step - brother, Michael Frame - Kempton, IL., and step - sister, Bonnie Moore - Duncanville, TX. Rhonda was preceded in death by a grandchild, Tyler Legan.
