Rex R. Stover

Memorial services for REX R. STOVER, 75, will be held at 2:00 pm Sat., Dec. 16, 2017 at the Clayton Presbyterian Church of which he was a member, with visitation from 12 noon until time of service. Burial of his cremains will take place in the Clayton Cemetery at a later date.

Rex was born in Arkansas City, KS., a son of Hiram and Lucille (Buzzi) Stover. He married Linda Young Dec. 2, 1963, she survives. He was a graduate of Arkansas City High School, Arkansas City Junior College, and received a Civil Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University. Rex was a civil engineer with the State of Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources Division of Water for 25 years, retiring in 2002.

Rex is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda, a daughter, Dora (Kenny) Fields, son Shawn Stover, all of Clayton, 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Ron Stover of Mt. Vernon, IN., Gerry Stover of Sapulpa, OK., and a sister, Doris Rogers of Arkansas City, KS.
