Ralph H. Davis

Funeral services for RALPH H. DAVIS, 93, of Danville, will be held at 1 pm Sat. September 23, 2017 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation from 11 am until time of service. Burial will take place in Danville South Cemetery next to his wife of 53 years, Eleanor.

Ralph was born in Natick, Mass., a son of Ralph Alden and Dorothy Cecilia (Wentz) Davis. He graduated from high school in Pennsylvania. Ralph had been a machinist at U.S. Guage in Sellersville, PA. for 40 years before retiring. He was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army as a platoon sergeant in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre.

Survivors include his three sons, Steven (Terry) Davis - Danville, Jim (Bette) Davis - Monticello, IN., Robert J. (Marilyn) Davis - Millsboro, DE., 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Robert A. Davis, Zionsville, PA. Ralph was preceded in death by 2 sons, Charles E. and John Davis, and a sister, Marjorie Furman.
