Phyllis K. Cahen Sexton

Memorial services will be held at a later date following her requested cremation service. PHYLLIS K. (WALDON) CAHEN SEXTON, 91, of Danville, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at her home Tuesday morning.

Phyllis was born in Bloomington to Robert and Amy K. (Douthitt) Waldon. She grew up in Bloomington and moved to Indianapolis, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School in 1944. Phyllis married Leon Cahen in 1945. She later married Lloyd R. Sexton in 1970, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister Betty (Waldon) Schmaltz. Phyllis was a licensed realtor, homemaker, and managed a dress shop in Indianapolis. She enjoyed camping, boating, square dancing, and spending time with family and her beloved dogs.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey (Pamela) Cahen - Avon, Robert Mark (Kristin) Cahen - North Carolina, Donna Vance - Indianapolis, step-children, Jim (Judy) Sexton - Coatesville, Sue (Ron) Schroerlucke - Sidney, OH., 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
