Paul A. Tinnell, 59, of Clayton, Ind. passed away, with his family at his side, on February 19, 2024 at the Mill Pond Healthcare Campus, in Greencastle. Paul graduated from Cascade High School with the class of 1982. Shortly after high school, he met his one true love and together they blended their families. As a young man he met and faced many challenges that made him who he was. Paul became a family man at a young age, while also taking care of aging family members, he stepped-up with a strong work ethic. Paul went to work for the Hendricks County Highway Department where he drove dump-trucks for many years.
Paul was a good ol’boy. He enjoyed being outside, fishing- where “no one was allowed to talk”. He was a farmer, growing vegetables and raising pigs, so his children could participate in 4H ; ) He was thankful and grateful for all the support and love he received throughout his life, Manna Mission in Martinsville holds a special place in his heart.
“Pops” is survived by his six children, Sarah Tinnell, Samantha (Ethan) Andrews, Mea (Steve) Brown, Mandy Mitchell, Amber (Chad) Hoffman, and David (Jennifer) Mitchell; 22 grandchildren and "dump-truck" full of great grandchildren.
A private celebration of Paul’s life will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.heltonandharrisfuneralhomes.com.
