Paul "Eddie" Mackey

"Eddie", 75 of Danville, passed away at The Waters of Indianapolis early Sunday morning. Per his request, there will be NO services.

"Eddie" was born in Connersville, IN. to the late John A. and Trulla Mae (Dunn) Mackey. A hardworking and devoted pipe fitter for 32 years with the NYC, Penn Central, and Conrail Railroad, "Eddie" retired having served through all of the transitions of the railroads . He was an avid collector of train memorabilia. "Eddie" was a disabled veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Marine Corp. He attended the Clayton Christian Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley (Fellows), children, David (Amber) Mackey of Greencastle, Paula Zapp of Coatesville, Shannon Chastain of Kokomo, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
