Naomi Ruth Mynatt

Funeral services for Naomi will be held 2:00 pm Fri., Apr. 5, 2019 at NORTHVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH in Danville with visitation there 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in Clayton (IN.) Cemetery following the service.

Naomi was born in Russellville, TN. to the late Howard and Ethel (Brooks) Williams. She graduated with the class of 1946 at Danville High School. Naomi continued her education in the field of nursing, receiving her certification as a licensed practical nurse. She practiced her nursing skills at the former Hendricks County Hospital, as well as in Morgan County. Naomi was a member of the Northview Christian Church in Danville. She continued her skills and faith serving in the "Mission Fields" in Indonesia from 1994 until 2000. Also, in addition, she served short term ministries in Afghanistan, Honduras, Haiti, and Costa Rica. Her compassion continued for serving, helping those Native Americans on the reservations in North Dakota.

Naomi was the widow of Chalmers Wright Jr., whom she married June 1, 1946 and Norman Mynatt, whom she married Feb. 26, 1974; both have preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Alice (Robert) McClellan of Las Vegas, NV., Connie (Jack) Lawson of Danville, Nancy (Audie) Wiggam of Austin, TX., Bruce Wright of Danville, Rex Wright of San Antonio, TX., Priscilla (Saddy) Wright Garcia of St. Augustine, FL., 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews, Naomi was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Wanda Jean Schmitt and Cheryl Elaine Wright.
