Nancy J. Etienne

Funeral services for NANCY J. ETIENNE, 81, will be held at 1:00 pm Wed., Oct. 18, 2017 in WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation there 4-8 pm Tues., Oct. 17. Burial will take place in Danville South Cemetery.

Nancy was born in Indianapolis to Edward William and Hazel Jane (Scott) Parson. She graduated from Southport High School and attended Butler University. Nancy married Robert "Bob" Etienne Aug. 27, 1955. She was a homemaker, a substitute teacher for the Danville and Avon Schools, worked in the cafeterias for the Danville Schools, and at the former Hallmark Store in Danville. Nancy was instrumental in helping a student, Jeff Edmonson achieve his high school diploma at Plainfield High School.

Surviving with her husband of 62 years, Bob, are her children, Carol (Bartley) Cohill - Greenwood, Nancy "Ellen" (Tim) Crammer - Eaton, OH., Bill (Jennifer) Etienne - Danville, Jim Etienne - Lafayette, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and her step-mother, Regina Parson - Brownsburg. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lieutenant William Parson.
