Mary Louise Harrell

PRIVATE funeral services for Mary Lou 84, of Danville, will be held at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE on Monday, December 4, 2020. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery at Cartersburg, In. where she will be laid to rest next to her husband of 63 years, William T. "Bill" Harrell. A celebration of life service will be held at HARMONY BAPTIST CHURCH in Avon, In., of which she was a member, at a later date. Mary Lou's family has asked that contributions be given to the church in her memory.

Mary Lou was born in Indianapolis to the late Lester and Essie (Orrell) May. She graduated from George Washington High School with the class of 1954. Mary Lou loved to sing, and enjoyed being a member of the "Colonial Chorus" while in high school. She married William T. "Bill" Harrell June 19, 1954, he preceded her in death Aug. 27, 2017. Mary Lou was a wonderful homemaker. She had worked in the Mill Creek East School cafeteria for 15 years, and at the Plainfield, In. Walmart Store for 3 years. Mary Lou enjoyed worshiping with her family at Harmony Baptist Church

Survivors include her daughters, Theresa (David) Hatfield of Danville, Cindy (Roger) Clouse of Poland, In., grandsons, D.J. Hatfield, Eric Minor, and great grandchildren, Liam Minor, Emory, Hunter, and Isabella Hatfield.
