Mary A. Clark

Mary A. Clark, 85, of Zionsville, IN passed away on September 18, 2022, at her home, where she’d lived
for over 58 years, with her family by her side. Mary was born in Danville, IN on July 22, 1937 to the late
Laurel and Mabel (Shorter) Robinson. She graduated from Avon High School with the class of 1955. On
September 7, 1976 she married Wallace “Wally” Clark, who preceded her in death, May 2000.
Mary was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing, and gardening. She delighted in sharing her artistic
creations with family and friends. Mary was also an avid reader and had a passion for classical music.
Mary is survived by her son, Bradley (Maria) Parker of Ft. Mill, SC; daughters, Diane Smogor of
Indianapolis and Denise (Sean Croy) Parker of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Evan (Narissa) Smogor, Sara
Parker and Benjamin Parker; sister, Laura Myers; nieces, Lisa (Javier) Sevilla, Amy (Scott) O’Neal and
nephew, Jim (Lora) Myers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at
1:00 pm at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, DANVILLE. She will be laid to rest in the Salem
Cemetery in Zionsville, IN. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s name to Purdue Christian
Campus House at 1000 W. State St., West Lafayette, IN 47906.
