Marjorie (Fitzwater) Stroup

A memorial service for MARJORIE will be held 11:00 am Sat., Mar. 9, 2019 at CALVARY CHAPEL OF DANVILLE, of which she was a member. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until time of service. A private burial of her cremains will take place in New Winchester Cemetery.

Marjorie was born in Lebanon, IN. to the late Orville and Stella (Eggers) Fitzwater. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and Indiana Business College.

Marjorie married Leo Stroup May 29, 1952, he preceded her in death May 7, 2014. She had been a legal secretary at Baker and Daniels Law Firm in Indianapolis for more than 20 years. Marjorie enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include her three sons, Gary Stroup of Apache Junction, Arizona, Gregg (Joy) Stroup and Pastor Roger (Lori) Stroup, all of Danville. Four grandsons and two great grandchildren also survive.Contributions may be given to the church in memory of Marjorie.
