Margery J. (Howland) Kincade

Funeral services for MARGERY will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in WHITESTONE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, located 7 miles west of Danville on US Hwy. 36. The services will be lovingly conducted by her husband, Harlan, who has been the minister at the church for many years, along with her children and family. Burial will follow in New Winchester (IN.) Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm at the church Monday, May 6, 2019.

Margery was born in Frankfort, IN. to the late Max and Lydia (Johnson) Howland. She was a 1956 graduate of Frankfort High School. Later in life, she graduated from St. Mary Of The Woods College in 1995, Suma Cum Laude, with a major in Social Work. Margery later received her Masters in Christian Counseling.

Margery's talents far exceeded her educational accomplishments. With her christian faith leading her, she not only worked with her husband, Harlan, with in the the church on a daily basis, but served her Lord in the mission fields. Margery served in Central America, Austria, and in the United States with Native Americans. She was an accomplished pianist/organist, seamstress, artist with book illustrations, and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of 61 years, Harlan, children, Lois (DeWayne) Davis - Lebanon, Tim (Pam) Kincade - Fishers, John (Cathy) Kincade - Jamestown, Matthew J. (Andrea) Kincade - Lebanon, 11 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

The family has asked that along with flowers, contributions please given to the church in memory of Margery. Envelopes will be available at the church.
