Lorna B. Goss, 75, of Danville. Passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Independence Village of Avon, Lorna was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 13, 1947, to the late Charles T. and Merietta (Ludlow) Goss. She was a 1965 graduate of the first graduating class from Cascade High School. She earned her Nursing degree from Purdue, and spent her career in the Hendricks Regional Hospital’s OBGYN unit, welcoming newborns for 42 years, retiring in 2010. Lorna was a member of the Clayton First Baptist Church where she loved singing. She enjoyed being out in nature, needlepoint work, puzzles, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and family

Lorna is survived by her children, Christopher (Cheryl) Dryer of Danville, IN, Heather (Dan) King of Greenwood, IN: grandchildren Josie Beth and Dustin Dryer, and Payton and Aidan King; Crystal and Shane Webb; great-granddaughter, Aaralyn Porter, sister Peggy (Howard) Reitzel; her nephew, Robert Reitzel, and niece, Rita-Lyle Crouse.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:30 pm, burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, Donation Processing Center, 3495 Piedmont, Rd., NE, Building 12, suite 210, Atlanta, GA 30305.
