Judith Arlene “Judy” Kenworthy, 83, of Clayton, Ind. passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 7, 2023. She was born in Dugger, Ind. on June 26, 1940, and was a daughter of the late Orval and Laura (Ladson) Swaby.
She attended Pleasantville High School and became mother to Bradley before she had the opportunity to graduate, yet became a successful businesswoman despite the fact. This allowed her to do her life’s work as a business owner with her husband Jerry providing quality produce to the Hendricks county area for over 40 years.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Kenworthy; her son, Brian (Rebecca) Brown of Sullivan, Ind.; grandchildren, Heather Moore, Shandi Prokesh, and Logan Brown; great grandchildren, Jackson and Keaton Moore; and her sister Carolyn Racer; and brothers, Bill Swaby and Bob Swaby. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Bradley Brown; and four of her siblings, Doris Enochs, Betty Sullivan, Irene French, and Lois Wehmeier. Also missing Judy is her faithful fur-baby, Jake.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Clayton Cemetery, Clayton, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the….. Online condolences may be offered at www.heltonandharrisfuneralhomes.com
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a local Humane Society in your area as her and her husband took in dogs that needed a good loving home to bless each of them with the companionship and security of a loyal pet.
