Jimmy Lee McGuire

July 30, 1944 — February 9, 2017

Graveside services for JIMMY LEE MCGUIRE will be held 11 am Sat. Feb. 18 at Clayton, Indiana Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; step-sons, David (Beate) Powell and Patrick Powell, all of Clayton; grandsons, Michael and Brian Powell; brothers Arthur (Alice) and Maxin McGuire; and a sister Ellen (Donald) Wise.

Jimmy was born July 30, 1944 in Washington, Indiana to James Howard and Edith (Grubbs) McGuire. He married Cheryl (Cull) Powell June 18, 1986.
He worked as a painter and paperhanger 22 years with various contractors, and was a member of the Painter & Allied Trades Int'l. Union Local #47.
Jimmy retired from Allison Transmission Division of General Motors in 1996., with 18 years of service as a painter/glazer at Plant 12 in Speedway. He
was also a member of Workers Union local #933. Jimmy was 1 of 7 original members of the Vigilante Motorcycle Club of Indianapolis. He was also a
member of the Son of Amvets Post #61 in Rockville.

Contributions may be given to J.U.G.A. (Bellmore V.F.D.) 7020 East US Highway 36 Rockville, Indiana.  WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME CLAYTON have been entrusted with the arrangements.
