Janie Jo Butler

Janie Jo, 53, of Clayton passed away at Hendricks Regional Health with her loving family by her side. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at HAZELWOOD CHRISTIAN CHURCH, located at the cross roads of County Roads 0 and 1000 S of Clayton. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery. Masks are recommended but not required.

Janie Jo was born in Linton, Indiana to Edna Fern (Eaton) Carter and the late Donald W. Foddrill. She graduated from Bloomfield, Indiana High School with the class of 1986. Janie Jo married Marshall Bradley "Brad" Butler September 12. 1987. She had been a loan consultant with One Main Financial Loan Company in Plainfield for 30 years. A devout Christian, Janie Jo was currently a member of the Clayton Christian Church, and a former member of the Hazelwood Christian Church. Not only sharing her love of Christ with others, she was active in her community. A member of Mill Creek Tri Kappa as well as being a Den Mother with Clayton Pack #305 Cub and Boy Scouts, Janie Jo enjoyed serving.

Survivors include her loving husband of almost 35 years, Brad, mother, Edna, and step-father, Fred Carter of Bloomfield, In., sons, Austin (Addison) Butler of Fayetteville, NC., Zachary (MacKenzie) Butler of Raleigh, NC., and her "favorite", a fuzzy 4-legged doggie daughter, Zoey Mae.

Janie Jo has requested that contributions be given to Mill Creek Tri Kappa, % Mrs. Myra Franklin, P.O. Box 38, Clayton, In. 46118.
