A memorial service for Bob will be held at 6:00 pm Tues., Oct. 15, 2019 at West Bridge Church, located 1521 S. Co. Road 75 W. in Danville. Visitation will also take place at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Those wishing to send flowers, please have them sent to the church. Burial of Bob's cremains will take place in Clayton Cemetery at a later date.
Bob was born in Jackson, MI. to the late James Roy and Alverna (Tingley) Lenardson. He graduated from Northwest High School in Jackson, MI. He later received a BS degree with a double major in Bible Studies and Pastorial Ministries from Ft. Wayne (IN.) Bible College. Bob married Debra Ehresman Oct. 31, 1995. He was an active member of West Bridge Church, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Bob was a journeyman carpenter and had been director of property management for the Meijer Stores in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky for 30 years, retiring in 2008.
Bob is survived by his wife of almost 24 years, Debra, children, Robb (Anna) Lenardson - Kansas, OK., Jason (Erin) Lenardson - Huntertown, IN., Jenny (Mark) Steinmetz - Waukarusa, IN., step-children, Melissa (Aaron) Gushwa - South Bend, IN., Michael (Brittany) Hedman - Elkhart, IN., Becky (Chris) Delgado - Butler, IN., Dianna (Damian) Hedman - South Bend, IN., and 27 grandchildren. Also surviving are a step-daughter-in-law, Angela Hedman - Avon, IN. and a brother, Jack (Loretta) Lenardson - Arizona. Bob was preceded in death by a step-son, Joseph Hedman.
