James Frederick Buchanan

Full military honors will be afforded to JAMES FREDERICK BUCHANAN, 90, of Danville, formerly of Madison, In. at 11 am Mon., Apr. 10  at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, In., interment to follow.

James was born in Madison, a son of Albert and Blanche (Meeks) Buchanan. He graduated from Madison High School. He married Jane Ann Reebs. James was a professional photographer, as well as being an insurance agent over 40 years before retiring. James loved his country and his community, serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was active for over 50 years in the Indianapolis and Mooresville Masonic Lodges as well as the Murat Shrine in Indianapolis.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Ann, children, James N. (Patty) Buchanan - Danville, Georgia (Ray) Dorulla - Greenwood, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother, Donald (Jeanne) Sarver - Madison, In. He was preceded in death by two children, Diana Thompson, Jonathan Buchanan, and brothers, George and Lee Buchanan, and Ralph Meeks.
