Inez M. Yohler

Inez M. Yohler, 77, of Danville, passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on June 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Allen and Rose (Marksbury) Kaster. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Robert, Richard, Ronald and Russell Kaster. 

Inez grew up in Indianapolis/Southport attending Chartrand (Roncalli) High School. She worked for Hooks Drugs, American Fletcher National Bank (AFNB), Bank One, Chase Bank, and Data Pro Inc. She enjoyed crocheting, especially hats, and was passionate about giving them to those in need, and those going through chemotherapy. She loved to go out to eat with family and friends, and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Inez's warm smile, heart of gold and compassion for others will be deeply missed. Inez's friendships were cherished by all who knew and loved her. 

Inez is survived by her husband of 57 years, Doug Yohler; sons, Brian (Lisa) Yohler, and Jerry (Autumn) Yohler; sister, Roseann Ligget; 3 grandchildren, Tori, Grayson and Ashlynn; 2 great grandchildren, Kaiden and Rowan. Also missing Inez are many nieces, nephews and extended family members. 

Inez's wishes were for cremation, a private service will be held at a late date.
