Ila Burdine

Funeral service for Ila Burdine, 90, will be held at 7:30 pm Sat., Apr. 27, 2019 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE, with visitation 4:00 pm until the time of service. A graveside service with burial next to her husband, William, will take place at 2:00 pm Mon., Apr. 29, 2019 in Chimney Rock Baptist Church Cemetery at Somerset, Kentucky.

Ila was born in Ano. Ky. to the late David L. and Nora (Burdine) Turner. She married William C. Burdine  Oct. 8, 1955 in Jellico, TN. He preceded her in death Sept. 24, 2013. Ila was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Jimmie) Schuster - Pittsboro, Robert C. Burdine - Indianapolis, Russell S. Burdine - North Salem, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 3 brothers, Clinton Turner - CA., Ray Turner - Morrisville, IN.. and Kenneth (Beulah) Turner - Somerset, KY. Ila was preceded in death by 5 sisters, and 6 brothers.

Ila was a member of Cliffty Grove Baptist and later attended Chimney Rock Baptist Church.
