"Frank", 68, of Clayton, passed away early Tuesday morning in University Hospital in Indianapolis. A celebration of life service will take place at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in the HAZELWOOD CHRISTIAN CHURCH located at 9947 S. and Co. Road 0, south of Clayton. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery. Visitation will also be in the church from 12:00 noon until the time of service. The wearing of masks are recommended, but optional.
"Frank" was born in Louisville, KY. to the late Paul French and Rhea (Corps) French Brown of Plainfield. He graduated from Southport High School in Indianapolis, attended IUPUI, and received an Auto Mechanic Degree from Ivy Technical College. "Frank" had been a commercial truck driver for many years, having driven for Langsenkamp Metals and Ryder Logistics, both of Indianapolis, where recently retired. He was an active member of Hazelwood Christian Church where he assisted with the food pantry ministry, as well as serving as a liaison for the church and local Boy Scout Troop #305 of Clayton.
Surviving along with his mother, Rhea, are his loving wife of 47 years, Debra "Debi" (Lorber), children, Kristin French of Clayton, Tony (Taffy) French of Avon, grandchildren, Faith Fox, Jessica Place, Brent Trauner, Kyla, Katelyn, and Kendall French. A brother, Paul (Vanessa) French of Martinsville, sisters, Linda French, Paula (Ron) Danforth, Robin Furkins, all of Indianapolis, Melody (John) DiGiovanni of Tennessee, and a step-sister, Bonnie Brown of Indianapolis.
Contributions may be given to Boy Scout Troop #305 of Clayton in memory of "Frank"
