Funeral services for Henry will be held at 11:00 am SATURDAY, January 18, 2020 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with burial to follow in Springhill Cemetery at Cartersburg, Indiana. Visitation will take place at the funeral home FRIDAY, January 17, 2020 4:00-7:00 pm

Henry was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to the late Earl Gus and Lorena Mae (Moore) Smith. He married Virginia "Ginny" Trent in 1951, she preceded him in death in 1997. Ginny and Henry were the owners and operators of the "Coffee Cup" Restaurant in Danville from 1975 until 1983. Henry received a certificate in finance from Indiana Business College. He had been a machinist at FMC - Link Belt Chain Division Indianapolis for many years prior to retiring. Henry was a member of the Danville Friends Church, the N.R.A. and the "Foresters". He enjoyed, and excelled at wood carving. He also enjoyed his daily walks with his dog, "Casey". Henry served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his children, Tami Wilson, Penni Tincher, Perri (Louise) Smith, all of Danville, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
