Funeral services for GORDON C. JONES, 75, of Danville, will be held at 7 pm Fri., Mar. 31, 2017 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE, with visitation 4 pm until the time of service. Burial of his cremains will take place in BETHESDA CEMETERY at RING, WISCONSIN.

"Gordie" was born on Pearl Harbor Day, Dec. 7, 1941 in Oshkosh, Wi. to Harold O. and Marcella (Hanson) Jones. Both of his parents have preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Oshkosh, Wisconsin High School."Gordie" was an air frame power plant mechanic for United Airlines, the Flying Tigers, and Fed Ex in Indianapolis, where he retired in 2007 after 35 years of service. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his sister-in-law Sally (James) Jones of Kirkland, Il., nephews, Tyler Jones of Genoa, Il., and Matthew Jones of Belvedere, Il.
