Geneva Spears

Funeral services for GENEVA SPEARS, will be held at 10:30 am Thurs., May 17, 2018 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation there from 4-7 pm Wed., May 16, 2018. Burial will take place in Lincoln Memory Gardens at Whitestown, IN.

Geneva was born in Lee County, VA. a daughter of Charlie and Ollie (Kimberling) Lawson. As well as being a homemaker, Geneva was a housekeeper and laundry supervisor at Golden Manor Nursing Home in Brownsburg for 18 years. She later worked at Plainfield Health Care in the laundry department for several years.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, John, her children, Wanda Spears - North Salem, Mary Mayer, Billy Spears, Jimmy Spears, all of Danville, and David Spears of Kentucky. Geneva is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, a sister, Avis Lilley - Danville, and a brother, Charles Lawson, "Jr.", - Brownsburg. There are also many nieces and nephews.
