Faith E. Patterson

Faith, 83, of Danville, passed away at her home Tuesday evening with her loving family by her bedside. In keeping with her wishes, Faith will be cremated, with a PRIVATE "Celebration of Life " service to take place at BARTLETT CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH in Avon, at a later date. Her cremains will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Springville, New York.

Faith was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Harold and Florence (Cranston) Edington. She graduated from Griffith Institute High School in Springville, New York, and later received a BA Degree in Sociology from Heidelburg University in Tiffin, Ohio. Faith taught in both public and private schools for many years. She married Raymond Patterson, April 28, 1962 in Springville, New York.

Her name, "Faith", says it all. She demonstrated that faith of servitude in her relationship with God, by being an active member of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church, the Shared Blessings Food Pantry at Danville United Methodist Church, and volunteering at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital for 16 years.

As an only child, Faith is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Raymond, daughters, Michelle (Brad) Eisenhart of Danville, Dawn (Scott) Baptist of Brownsburg, and grandchildren, Lauren Purvis, Jason, Jacob, and Ashlyn Eisenhart. Contributions may be given to Bartlett Chapel in her memory.
