Esther H. Brown

83, of Danville, died July 29, 2017. Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, August 5 in WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE with visitation from 11 am until time of service. Burial will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery at Plainfield.

Esther was born February 11, 1934 in Indianapolis, a daughter of Harry and Essie (Surber) Grinnewald.  She graduated from Danville High School. Esther married Robert W. "Bob" Brown in 1951, he preceded her October 23, 2016.  She was a homemaker, and had worked at L.S Ayers in Indianapolis. A member of Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church in Avon, Esther had been a choir member and active in the U.M.W. of the church.

Survivors include her children, Debra Sue Wilson-Lakeland, FL., Janet Carol Rousch-Indianapolis, Doug Brown-Menomonee Falls, WI., 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Esther was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Lee Brown, and a sister, Joann Roberts.
