Erika J. (Hinderer) Lewis

Funeral services for Erika, 83, of Clayton will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, Jan. 24, 2020 at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME CLAYTON, with visitation there 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Center Valley Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband of 40+ years, Don.

Erika was born in Bad Wimpfen, Germany to the late Wilhelm Otto and Brigitta (Keitinger) Hinderer. She graduated from high school in Germany. Erika was a homemaker and a member of Hazelwood Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Roland Lewis of Stilesville, Richard Lewis of Waldorf, MD., Rosemarie (Joe) Baker of Bainbridge, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Erika was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Lewis and a sister.

Erika was a gracious and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Though the last years dealing with Alzheimers were difficult, her family stood by her side until the end.
