Elinora Weaver

Elinora Weaver, 98, of Evansville, formerly of Hazelwood, IN passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024.  She was the daughter of Glen and Blanche (McClellan) Brewer.  

Elinora graduated from Ben Davis High School, then married Rodney J. Weaver.  Elinora and Rodney traveled and spent many years in Zephyrhills, Florida before his passing on October 21, 1995.
She was a homemaker and expert seamstress, she was also intensely involved in politics

Elinora is survived by two sons, Jim Weaver of Terre Haute, and Steve Weaver of Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Weaver, Susan Weaver, Scott Weaver and Crissy Ratzsch; 3 great grandchildren, Zakary Weaver, Jace Gioe and Kai Ratzsch, and on great-great grandchild, Parker Weaver; 2 nieces, Nancy Whitehead and Barbara Taylor; 4 nephews, John Arnholt, Mike Arnholt, Phillip Arnholt and Dennis Arnholt.  In addition to her husband, Elinora is preceded in death by her sister, Anna Arnholt and nephew David Arnholt.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Center Valley Cemetery, Clayton, Indiana. Online condolences may be offered at www.heltonandharrisfuneralhomes.com.
