Dorothy Ellen Daniels

Funeral services for DOROTHY ELLEN (DAVIS) DANIELS, 95, of Hazelwood will be held at 2 pm Fri., September 22, 2017 at the MONROVIA, IN. CHRISTIAN CHURCH, with visitation there from 11 am until time of the service. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery next to her husband of 50 years, Cecil,  who preceded her in death in 1991.

Dorothy was born in Buckner, Illinois, a daughter of James Alfred and Clara Pearl (Mason) Davis. She was a member of the Monrovia Christian Church as well as the Clayton, IN. Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her only child, a daughter, Cecilia E. "Cookie" (Dwane) Armour of Hazelwood, 5 grandchildren, Barry (Jennifer) Armour, of Camby, Keith (Cathy) Armour, of Franklin, Scott (Amy) Armour, of Hazelwood, Brook (Jason) Rockefeller, of Mooresville, and Sherrie Armour, of Hazelwood. 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, a sister, Belle Lindsay, of Mooresville, a brother, Walter Davis, of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Noel, Howard, Junie, and Richard Davis.
