Derek A Thomas

Derek A. Thomas, 37, of Indianapolis, formerly of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly at his home last Thursday. Funeral arrangements are pending at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME CLAYTON. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Derek was born in Indianapolis to George and the late Tamara (Williams) Thomas Bayles. He married Terri Hessler, and was a short order cook for several Indianapolis area restaurants.

Survivors include his father, George, of Indianapolis, wife, Terri, children, Kayley, Alexis, Mya, Ty Thomas, all of Indianapolis, and Ky Thomas of Greencastle. Brothers, Travis Bayles of Tipton, In., Grant Thomas of New Palestine, In., Benji Williams of Clayton, James Bayles, Garrett Thomas, and C.J. Wright, all of Indianapolis. Sisters, Sunni Bayles and Jami Bayles, both of Indianapolis, and a sister, Felicia Thomas, preceded him in death.
