Denise Lynn Byers

A PRIVATE "Celebration of Life" service will be held for Denise, 59, of Plainfield, at WEAVER & RANDOLPH FUNERAL HOME DANVILLE Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Masks are asked to be worn, and social distancing observed. Burial of her cremains will be laid to rest in Danville South Cemetery next to her father and mother.

Denise was born in Indianapolis to the late Clyde and Pauline (Wheeler) Downing. She was "brought-up" by her parents teaching that "hard work" was something to take pride in and do well. Denise will be remembered by her friends and co-workers in the housekeeping and laundry departments in the many local nursing facilities and hotels, most recently, the Homewood Suites in Plainfield, that she had been employed.

Survivors include her children, Jamie Patterson - Fillmore, IN., Macy Diane Ballard, William Lester Ballard, Jr., both of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren, sisters, Debbie Sue Coffman, Anna Collings, both of Danville, brothers, Larry Downing - Danville, and David Downing - Pasadena, MD. Denise was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Komlanc, and a brother, Richard Downing.
