Debra Joyce "Debbie" Cook

Debra J. “Debbie” Cook, 69, of Danville, passed away with her family by her side, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Hendricks Regional Hospital.  Debbie was born in Indianapolis on August 12, 1953, a daughter of the late, Dwell and Kitty (Tindal) Markin.  She was a graduate of Danville High School with the class of 1971.  On April 1, 1972 she married her best friend, Ronald G. Cook. Debbie worked in the medical field as a medical assistant and receptionist with the Hendricks County Hospital, retiring after 42 years of dedicated service.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ron Cook, daughter, Kristi (Justin) Poole of Danville, son, Mike Cook of Avon, 4 grandchildren, brother, John (Linda) Markin of Danville, several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Markin.
