Debra "Debbie" Beasley

A memorial service for Debbie, who passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Aspen, Colorado, will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, December 15, 2019 at ST. AUGUSTINE EPISCOPAL CHURCH DANVILLE, with visitation also at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Please keep the Beasley family in your thoughts and prayers.

Debbie was born in Indianapolis to the late George Edward and Gloria Mae (Somers) Derrickson. She was a 1971 graduate of Ben Davis High School and attended Butler University as well as the University of Texas at Arlington. Debbie married John M. Beasley Dec. 30, 1983, he preceded her in death June 9, 2017. Debbie and John had been co-owners of Beasley Orchards in Danville for many years. She was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Danville, the Indiana Horticultural Society, the Indiana Farm Market Society, and a former board of director of the Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Debbie is survived by her children, Calvin (Brittany) Beasley of Avon, Seth (Jill) Aichinger of W. Lafayette, Lyra (Adam) Baitis of Plainfield, grandchildren, Gloria, Maya, Bryn, and Faye, a brother, G. Michael Derrickson of Crescent City, Florida, and a nephew, Matthew. Debbie was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and James Derrickson.

Contributions may be given to St. Augustine Episcopal Church and/or the Hendricks County Humane Society.
