"Cliff", 89, passed away at Brooke Knoll Village in Avon, Easter afternoon. He was born in Port Jervis, New Jersey to the late John and Edith (Byrum) Campbell. Cliff was a graduate of Washington High School in Indianapolis, and received an education in tool design and drafting from Lincoln Technical College. He married L. "Nadine" Capps Feb. 10, 1951, she survives. Cliff had worked at AT&T for 35 years as a product manufacturer and designer. He was a member of the Danville Church of Christ, and had served as the Clayton Cemetery Association Treasurer for 20+ years. Cliff served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Due to the COVID-19 Virus,a private only graveside service will be held Thursday, Apr. 16, 2020 at Clayton Cemetery with military honors. Survivors include his wife of 69 years. "Nadine", daughters, Linda (Mike) Turner, Janine (Myron) Turner all of Avon, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Cliff was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Clark, and a sister, Martha Vielhaver.
