Catherine "Cathy" J. Boes

In loving memory of Catherine June Boes, 81, of Coatesville who passed away on July 15, 2024 peacefully and surrounded by her family. Catherine was born June 5, 1943 to the late John J. Ferree and Lorraine M. Ferree. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Catherine devoted her life to loving her family and many other children and adults. She was a Respite Care Coordinator with Visiting Nurse Services for many years, as well as working locally with those with disabilities.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her step-son, Robert Swafford. She is survived by her husband, David Boes; daughter, Connie (Michael) Layne of Waterford, WI, sons Bobby (Beverly) Swafford of Trafalgar, IN, and Mike (Heather) Swafford of Coatesville, IN; daughter, Janay (Nevin) Rasor of Milwaukee, WI. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren which brought her so much joy. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 5-8pm at the Helton & Harris Funeral Home, CLAYTON LOCATION, 4712 Pennsylvania St., Clayton, IN 46118.  A funeral will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Burial will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cathy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
