Carolyn "Jane" Bollman

December 23, 1930 — February 20, 2018

Funeral services for CAROLYN "JANE" BOLLMAN will be held at 2:00 pm Sat., February 24, 2018 at WHITESTONE CHRISTIAN CHURCH of which she was a dedicated member. Visitation will also be at the church, which is located 7 miles west of Danville on US Hwy. 36 from 11 am until time of service. Burial will follow in Danville South Cemetery.

"Jane" was born in Lafayette, In. the daughter of the late Gilbert and Geneve (Rawles) Whitsel. She was a graduate of Klondike High School, attended Purdue University while working at Sears in Lafayette and received a BA degree from Indiana University (IUPUI) after her children were grown. "Jane" married Robert "Bob" Bollman in Lafayette June 2, 1956. They lived in Iowa for ten years prior to moving to Danville in 1966. She was a 36 year member of Riley Hospital Cheer Guild of which she also served as a board of director. "Jane" was a past president of the Hendricks County Extension Homemakers, and a long time member of Modern Homemakers Extension Club. She loved children, sewing, baking cookies, and all of nature.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, "Bob", her children, Patrick and Daniel Bollman, both of Danville, Thomas Bollman of North Salem, Mary (Gary) Houser of Noblesville, grandchildren, Morgan, Cody, Lacey, Ivy, Brittany, Cole, T.J., Brody, Brayden, Gavin, great grandchildren, Ava, Hailey, Xavier, Amari, Savannah, and a brother, Gilbert Whitsel, of Columbus Junction, Iowa. "Jane" was preceded in death by two daughters, Sally Ann and Susan Jane.
