Bruce A. Maxwell

Bruce, 69, of Danville, passed away at Life's Journey Hospice in Avon early Monday morning. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 in DANVILLE FRIENDS CHURCH with visitation there from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in SUGAR GROVE CEMETERY at Plainfield where Bruce will be laid to rest next his parents, Albert "Wilson" and Lura L. (Hampton) Maxwell. The wearing of masks are recommended, but optional.

Bruce was born in Indianapolis, a birthright Quaker, he graduated from Olney Friends Boarding School in Barnesville, Ohio with the class of 1970. He later received an associate degree in aircraft mechanics from Vincennes University in 1973. Bruce enjoyed his profession in aviation as an aircraft mechanic, as well as farming with his brother, David. He retired in 2019. Bruce was a member of Danville Friends Church.

Survivors include his brother, David A., his wife, Carmen, their children, of Salem, Oregon as well as several cousins and his "church family" at Danville Friends Church. Contributions may be given to Life's Journey Hospice at 10241 E. County Road 100 N., Avon, In. 46123
