Betty Haas Adams

Funeral services for BETTY HAAS ADAMS, 98, of Bainbridge, formerly of Danville, will be held at 2 pm Sun., Nov. 5, in the DANVILLE CHRISTIAN CHURCH with visitation there from 1 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow in Newtown, IN. Cemetery in Fountain County, IN.

Betty was born in West Union, In. a daughter of Elmer and Bertha (Lewman) Garrard. She graduated from West Union High School, and received her nursing degree from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Betty had been an R.N. at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville for 10 years, and at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital in Danville for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Monroe Haas and Joseph Adams. Betty was an active member of the Danville Christian Church, a 75 year member of the Brownsburg O.E.S. Chapter #226, and the Narcissus Club. Contributions may be given to Heart-To-Heart Hospice, 252 Meadow Dr. Suite #6, Danville, In. 46122.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen (Mary) Haas - Bainbridge, Warren (Karen) Haas - Marion, grandchildren, Timothy R. (Wendy) Haas, Cristina (Mark) Osmialowski, great grandchildren, Braxton Haas, Aubrey Haas, Mark John Osmialowski II, and Stephen John Osmialowski. Betty was preceded in death by a grandson, Cristopher John Osmialowski, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
