Bert E. Waterman, Sr.

A graveside service for BERT E. WATERMAN, SR., will be held at 2:00 pm Sun., Sept. 16, 2018 at WEST RIDGE PARK CEMETERY located at 9295 W. 21st. in Indianapolis with burial to follow.

Bert was born in Indianapolis to Edward and Geneva (Cossel) Waterman. He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. Bert married Lillie M. Fitzgerald Nov. 19, 1954, she preceded him in death Mar. 12, 2003. He enjoyed farming, had also been a machine operator at Allison's in Indianapolis for 19 years, and later in life had worked at the former LoBill Food Store in Danville. Bert served his country in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his sons, Wayne E. (Jeanette) Waterman and David R. (Toni) Waterman, all of Danville, Larry K. (Sherry) Waterman of Coatesville, daughter-in-law, Diane Waterman of Danville, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a brother, Leroy (Lena) Waterman, of Mooresville.
Bert was preceded in death by a son, Bert E. Waterman, Jr.
