Barbara Jean Arwood

Barbara Jean Arwood, 91, of Danville, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living.  She was born in Terre Haute, IN on June 12, 1931, a daughter of the late Edward and Flossie (Gaddis) Cunningham.  Barbara graduated from Terre Haute Garfield High School in 1950, and on November 1,1952 she married Floyd H. Arwood, he preceded her in death, April 1, 2010.  She and Floyd were raised during The Great Depression, they worked hard all their lives without expectations, except the feeling you get from a job well done.   Barbara is survived by two sons, Kenneth Arwood of Danville, IN and David Arwood of Allentown, PA. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Dennis Arwood, sister, Joanne McKean, and brothers, Harry and Darrel Cunningham.   She will be buried next to her husband in the Danville South cemetery, all services are private.
