Robert Allen Regula

In loving memory of Robert Allen Regula, age 52, of Danville, who passed away after a brief illness on Friday, July 7th, 2023, at Hendricks Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Austin, Texas, and was the son of the late Ronald Regula and Geraldine (Burke) McFarland. Robert grew up in Virginia, graduating from Nansemond River High School with the Class of '89.

Robert had a deep love for sports, enjoying watching all kinds. He was a dedicated fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team and followed NASCAR, with his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. He liked keeping in touch with friends on Facebook and had a fondness for classic TV sitcoms like M*A*S*H. And of course, he had a weakness for anything chocolate. One of his favorite rituals was sharing a morning coffee with his friend Lanny. Robert had a friendly and open nature, treating everyone as if they were lifelong friends.

Robert is survived by his sister, Deborah Consolvo of Avon, along with his nieces, Heather, Victoria, and Danielle, and nephew, Michael Consolvo. His aunts, Edith Regula of Avon and Jean Leavengood of Chicago, IL, also mourn his loss.
